Centerless Grinding Wheelhead Assemblies (Spindles)

GCH provides grinding wheelhead assemblies (spindles) on exchange and parts kits for all centerless grinders. When remanufacturing grinding wheelhead assemblies, GCH follows standards that meet or surpass OEM specifications:

• All perishable Cincinnati spindle parts are replaced with new parts.
• Old ceramic is removed from spindle bearing journals and replaced with Rockite®. Spindle bearing journals are re-ground to original specifications.
• New babitted bearings are individually hand-fitted and hand-scraped.
• Hydraulic control valve filter and lubrication lines are replaced.
• To ensure quality and reliability, the completed assembly is run-off on specially designed test stands for eight hours before shipping.
