GCH Tool remanufactures hard-to-find components for Heald grinders, including planetary workheads.  You can easily exchange your damaged workhead through GCH Tool's exclusive "no downtime" Remanufacturing Exchange Program, which allows you to reduce downtime without requiring an increase in your on-hand parts inventory or an investment in spare subassemblies.

All Heald grinder planetary workheads are remanufactured to new OEM specifications: 

  • All bearing journals, face and pulley are completely precision ground, chromed and finished
  • Old precision bearings, seals, gaskets, etc., are replaced with new parts.
  • After final assembly, each workhead is tested on specially designed test stands to mimic onsite operation
